The lessons are always free! The idea is to create a community of players who feel comfortable playing together and then begin gradually to venture out to play in some of our other regular games. Our club now is 75% non-life masters, so there are lots of opportunities to play with “beginners.” Each week, a mini lesson is taught and then a real game. The first book has about 12 lessons in it, then there is Book 2 and Book 3. We also have another lesson format for anyone who wants to continue learning on Monday afternoons that will have one topic each week.
Bridge is a lifelong learning opportunity--or not! You can have fun playing bridge for the rest of your life and know all you need to know after the first 6 lessons. Or you can continue learning, growing, etc. That is maybe what attracted you to bridge. I hope you and maybe some of your friends give it a try. The EasyBridge!© format assumes you want to learn and presents the material, leaving the learning up to you. You won't learn unless you are motivated and study on your own and commit to practice. But everyone has his/her own expectation of what kind of player he/she wants to be, and this format and our club allow for all levels of those expectations.
